Sarah is a Nevada native from Fallon, has a comprehensive academic background and a deep commitment to patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Nevada, Reno, reflecting her dedication to advancing her knowledge and skills in the field of nursing.
Her interests in the medical profession was sparked by a wilderness medicine course she took while working as a camp counselor at a summer camp in Colorado. This pivotal experience led her to pursue a nursing career, where she has since gained extensive experience across various nursing specialties. She is passionate about creating a safe and trusting environment for her patients, understanding that strong relationships are essential for effective health management and healing.
Outside of her professional life, she cherishes the natural beauty of Northern Nevada, where she enjoys camping with her husband, two young children, and her dog. She also enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and natural hot springs. She finds joy in cooking, creating art, and spending time outdoors, embracing the Sierra Nevada’s scenic landscapes and vibrant activities.
